Though the process of monopolization. The end result of free markets is oligarchy/corporatism.

Stefan is there a video of you shutting these down I would love it to use as reference? I can argue the facts of how this is true, but to have a truth about government made Monopolies would be amazing as over time I cant remember everything to shut down the statists.

This is true. Though perhaps only because we as individuals exist in nation states...and the process of monopolisation only occurs through nation states. Thus Ignatius, who presumably lives in a nation state, is very confused.

Standard Oil? I don’t think their monopoly was bad tho, they were simply superior to others and slowly bought them off. Costumer was the one who benefited the most from their monopoly/low prices. You could also argue that was not a monopoly.

The only way a corporation can maintain anything approaching a monopoly without it is to behave *as if* there were healthy competition.

But doesn’t the state have to invest because otherwise the companies wouldn’t bother investing in the first place (w little short medium term returns) in particular infrastructure or amenities such as the case with nuclear?

I use DuckDuckGo for searching. Market dominance is not monopoly. This type of market dominance does not last long unless the state intervenes.
