Well you could try certainly. Of course its hard to argue a reasoned argument whilst being beaten by blunt objects repeatedly over the head and being called every vile name in the book. Tends to ruin the concentration.

She's correct, because for the progressive, if reason clashes with emotion, then imagination supersedes reason.

I don’t see the point in trying to change human nature as it can’t be changed. There has always been, since time began, people who uphold honesty and people who don’t care for it, all in varying degrees. It’s natural and normal.

@realitycalls8 I've always looked at it as I'm not trying to change the progressives mined. As you correctly note, it's not possible. I'm arguing for the crowd which is watching hoping to change their mind.

I think the distinction there is between those who accept objective truth and those who don't.

I think it’s different from the perspective of public figures making public arguments. Your arguments, Stefan, are more for the masses consuming them than for an unswayable adversary; whereas a private person making an argument in private setting is wasting their breath.
