Glasgow isn't diverse and had up until recently the highest crime rate. London is a city and has never been a bastion of peace and tranquility its always had gangs, poverty, bandits and a division between rich and poor.....

I have raised three kids in Hackney, my eldest is now 21 my youngest is 14. They all roam freely., and love London's diversity. My heart breaks for you that you have become so embittered, you need a forklift truck to get rid of that gigantic chip on your shoulder.

Someone need to tell him that London always has a reputation of being a "crime" city all the way back to 1800s.Jack the Ripper is from where again? If anything according to crime rate per capita, it's lower than in the 70s.

Meh, not a lot of point telling this crowd anything. They know what they want to believe, and won't be dissuaded - even by someone whose lived in London 27 years and raised a family here.
