There is a cultural difference between the US and China. Chinese children are expected to support their parents in old age. They are therefore behaving as normal Chinese even though they live in America. It is nothing to do with the US but more to do with their own culture.

Too bad China seems unable to provide adequate prospects for its own citizens, so that they have to go abroad to succeed in life.

How do they get any given assistance. As soon as they apply for it they should be identified as an illegal immigrant and immediately deported.
