Unpleasant historical truth of the day: after the 11th century, up to 1% of male criminals in Europe were executed every generation – another 1% died at the scene or in prison. This prevented psychopaths from passing on their genes, resulting in a continually lower murder rate.

Presumably, 11th century Europeans had incredibly sophisticated means to accurately diagnose psychopathy & didnt murder innocents. Also, diagnosed psychopaths are all necessarily evil and should be executed, & this assessment of a group doesn't infringe on individual rights.
