No, men don't know how to take care of themselves. We spend HOURS on our beauty and they don't even wash their faces.

No, women spend way too much time on that shit. It's just a fact. "Yeah man had to leave. Her nails totally needed a fill in. I almost threw up, bro. Think I'm going to call my ex. Her earrings always match her shirt."

Basically women who stay a long time on dating sites are women who think a lot of themselves and keep on dating and complaining because they were there for an ego trip not a relationship.

The 80/20 rule on full display. Evolutionary psychologists were writing about this phenomenon waaay back in the 90's. Read Robert Wright's brilliant and seminal work "The Moral Animal".

Enhanced skin tone, also animal "cutesy" overlays/filters... underneath that could be a nasty demanding feminst grouch, not a cute cat or bear.

The 0% on the most attractive is because none of the men posted a pic showing their massive bank balance.

Partly the mentality that “living your best life” and “you don’t need a man” are to blame. If unattached hookups were as healthy as they say we’d be in a better place as a society both mentally and sexually but we aren’t. So why isn’t anyone challenging the standard?
-
There’s also an aspect of the difference in what is attractive to men and what’s attractive to women. I don’t think the things that women find attractive in a guy lends itself well to a swiping service.

... It's women on okcupid lol so consider the source
-
Evidence that women are less picky on other platforms?
-

good point cause I was thinking it depends on the woman? Just wanted to add that those statistics make me sad because there's more a person than their just profile pic and it sucks to get judged by that.

We can at least take solace in the fact that at least 50% of women on okcupid will adopt half a dozen cats or just die alone.
-
It's a little frightening too, because we've already seen how groups of lonely "incels" stir up a ruckus, but they are generally young men who haven't "grown up" and developed themselves or a career while for these women it will be the inverse- they will hit the wall and be stuck

I think this is a perfectly natural distribution of sentiment. It's uncomfortable to be a man under these circumstances, but isn't it the evolutionary function of women to be selective?
-
not when it is distorted by fake news media, advertising and victimhood feminism
-
To make a serious commitment, I would argue that women would have to be *more* selective because there's more at risk, both in terms of unknowns about the individual and future options or the opportunity cost of "settling"
-
That definitely seems to be a factor as long as earning potential is part of the selection equation (and there's no reason to think that will change). I think my initial point still stands, that we should not expect women to be as indiscriminate as men in the sexual marketplace.
