I read it to the end and that's not quite that. More like "everyone around is racist and I'm not sure I want to be a part of it but they make me to". But the title is definitely a clickbait, he clearly says it was the society pressure that made him break up, not the girl's fault.

These days it's hard to tell whether it's a satire or a true story. Sometimes I can't even tell if it should appeal to the left or right. It's like I need to make my own decisions and form opinions, eww...

I think a deeper reading of this shows that the author knows this is all wrong and cruelly confusing for young non-white men who just want to live and let live. But he just isn't strong enough to resist the pressures coming from his community and more broadly the left

I've seriously dated or at least been on 1 date with men of EVERY race. All of them. My husband is Asian. Race was never a factor in my relationships.
