Huge asymmetries. Black nationalism is fine, and I do mean fine. Black is beautiful, black is proud. Right on. But why has white, almost imperceptibly , become the color of toxicity? To say that white people have done bad things is just to say that people have done bad things.

Yes. The universities have a lot to answer for; surveys indicate at least 80% of faculty are left-leaning (eg Brolin). And if there is such a thing as white privilege, then wasn't it earned? We’ve done quite a lot since the Renaissance last time I looked.
