Marxists hold special hatred for the bourgeoisie, the middle class & the suburbs because according to Marxist doctrine, they should not exist. Capitalism was supposed to hollow out society; a few rich and many very poor. Marxism: Never revise the theory, just hate the evidence.

The USs largest source of merchandise imports is China - a country run by a Communist Party and designated a non-market economy by Americas own Dept of Commerce since it’s dominated by SOEs, state controlled banks, lacks a free floating currency, etc. Things are a bit more blurry
