Responding to another philosopher is just polemics. You don’t have to engage in polemics to be a philosopher. But even if he isn’t a “philosopher,” that would not invalidate any of his arguments, so it’s a moot point.

I'm genuinely curious Stefan. What is your criteria for "prominent"? Earlier, you responded to someone with a follower count.. But some of the most groundbreaking work in Philosophy isn't coming from celebrities with huge follower counts. The Speculative Realists for example.
