What crap. Do you ever think for yourself, or just repeat stupid Marxist claptrap? Christians engaged in slavery the least, and worked to end it worldwide. if slavery made a religion wealthy, the Muslim slave trade was 200 TIMES bigger than the American, why weren’t they rich?https://twitter.com/opinionchecks/status/1108937745693462528 …

True, but only after they oppressed others and perpetuated slavery to achieve substantial economic and resource gains at the expense of the enslaved.

A great many people use Twitter the way they might shout an opinion at a crowded party: to draw attention to themselves, not to say anything intelligent. Parroting claptrap is an easy way to score cheap points from the peanut gallery.

Parroting smart things, though, is a great way to score expensive points from the walnut gallery.

For that matter, the antebellum American South was much less prosperous than the North. And the North was a powerhouse of capitalism. Almost as if freedom & financial incentive encourage hard, smart work or something.

True! Millions of Ukrainians were enslaved and carried away, and the Eastern reaches of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was depopulated during the Turkish wars.

It repackaged itself as RoL to survive post-Enlightenment era. It's idea is to let western militaries & corporations wreak socio-economic havoc in 3rd world countries so that it can come as saviours by opening school & hospitals - with funds received by the same corporations.

Did you know the British slave owners, normally Barron's , Lord's etc built their Stately Homes and castles from the sweat of slaves in America, but not just America. When the Slavery Acts were enforced by Parliament, the slaveowners we're compensated by the taxpayer £billions.
