In my original post, I said that I Q predicted 80% of workplace success. You’re not adding anything to the conversation if you’re just pointing out that 80% is not the same as 100%.https://twitter.com/snooksley/status/1107796242615201792 …

I think I agree with what you are saying. I also think you misunderstood what I was saying. IQ alone is not a reliable measure of workplace worth or success, as there are those who have ridiculously high IQs (ie. person with Asperger’s) who would not be of use in many positions

Hey Stef one of your critics in the past had done a complete and commendable 180 turn on this issue after criticising you. Please watch and have him on if possible very humble, knowledgeable and sincere guy;https://youtu.be/G9jilBF86BE

To think one can distill an idea as broad & subjective as "workplace success" into a single predictable "quotient" is pure delusion.

The corporate setting isn't meritocratic by any stretch of the imagination. People get ahead mostly by having no moral merit.

What about the 20% you leave behind? Is that worth it? Why not include IQ as a metric but still use others so we can make the best decision possible and consider as many factors as possible?
