May be no correlation at all. However he backed the minimum wage horse which is a loser no matter what. Min wage is price fixing. Price fixing fails. Not a good enough reason to die for, but may have been another downer. Sad though.

Price floors and ceilings don't necessarily hold under monopoly/monopsony conditions.

Agreed. However monopsony is very rare and monopolies are self correcting (more so than most folks realize). Personally I don’t think either has much place in the $15 movement in the US.
