True, it's not an argument, but I believe it speaks to the notion that intelligence is not necessarily correlated with drive, ambition or motivation. That said, when an employer can measure both intelligence AND drive from spit, perhaps some positions will be filled this way.

Gattaca proves that genetics actually does matter and that more than just genetics can drive success, but that it plays the greatest role in such success. He had to fake it and work much harder to succeed and he was an anomaly in the system.
