That's how you take down a dragon. Your daughter would be proud, I imagine. Hah.

Should have let the banks fail. Occupy was taken over by students who didnt want to pay for their college the same way the tea party was co-opted by those against the ACA. Both started in agreement, no corporate walfare.

Interesting idea, I'd limit it to certain degree plans for full forgiveness and then hold any institution which doles out Fed Loans accountable for how they deal with free speech issues.

Since when do banks care about the well-being of its consumers? The problem is the lack of empathy. No wait, that's the fundamental basis of it, right?

So anyone can take out a loan irresponsibly that they don't want to pay back and it should be forgiven???
-
I doubt Stefan means for there to be no other changes to the system (though I'll let him speak for himself, of course). Lots of changes are needed. We need to stop giving so many loans in the first place. But the no-default policy is a slave-minting policy.

Debt is slavery and those loans are the chains
-
Debt can be responsibly taken and given. The problem is that this system is not in that subset.
