OMGoodness someone is writing about this!!!! There may be hope for the human race after all. Without the ability to replicate there is no scientific results and by the way psychology is a soft science.
That's because they're using psychology probably sourced from animals husbandry and applying it to people, who have different cultural values which strongly dictate instinctual response, things animals don't have.

It isn't a replication problem, it is a logical fallacy problem. Manipulating qualitative information into quantitative data using OLS &/or MANOVA to understand subjective observations is false on its pretense. The same case is true for the study of climate or weather.
