Still think it’s worth going to an elite college? If this is proven, the colleges have destroyed their brands. The degrees now mean nothing - if they’re willing to be paid for entrance, they could certainly be paid for marks.https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/12/a-slew-of-ceos-are-charged-in-alleged-college-entrance-cheating-scam.html …

We need a new educational paradigm for the US. The old institutions are corrupted with leftists and frauds who live off tax payer dollars. We have to start by teaching our children that we don't need state institutions to understand the world. Tech has changed everything.

Ivy League and the wannabes haven’t been about advanced education for most, it’s always been about socialization, networking, making alliances and finding appropriate mates.

It ensures you hire the right people, make the right connections for politics, and bring in the correct new blood and bind it to the aristocracy. It ensures the elite are all on the same page and keeps the common folks out of the club.

This has been obvious to anyone who's been paying attention for YEARS. It's the same as the government paying schools to participate in affirmative action, or alumni paying their old schools to accept certain students for the sole reason that they want to see >>>

When you see some of the graduates coming out of “elite” colleges you’ll get a pretty good idea of how little the degrees are worth now. Waste of money.

Elite college degrees never meant anything special but connection to a power network. This confirms. Won't change anything.

My heart goes out to the families of students who commit suicide trying to compete in this falsely competitive system. The stress is massive and for what — an illusion of perfection, it turns out.

Elites make fun of people who don’t go to college, overvaluing non technical degrees. Then they lie cheat and steal to get in and once they are in. Most college degrees are completely useless.

In the wake of the #IvyLeague #collegeadmissionsscandal, I just want to say that while yes, I did misrepresent myself to Yale as a soccer player, I only did so because in my family there had always been talk that we were soccer players, so that is what I was raised to believe.
