False, look at the male media stars in the 1950s, after the war. My Three Sons, Leave it to Beaver, Cary Grant, Gregory Peck, John Wayne etchttps://twitter.com/EmperorDIO/status/1105209547881365506 …

Ehhh... I'm gonna have to say no. Interesting take, but the reasoning is flawed. Women go for percieved "bad boys" regardless of upcoming war.

I think what he's trying to say is all women are hypergamous, it's the external environment that puts resource limitations on that hypergamy. They all want the bad boy, but if resources are scarce, well there's a pecking order, and they have to settle.

It's said that the victors of war get to write or rewrite history. Certain ppl in hollywood & government demonized all Germans before, during, and after WW2. Watch Hellstorm on video. And I grew up being brainwashed by hollyweird into fantasizing about fighting Germans. Tisk tisk

Blimey Stefan. This was the 50s. Times have changed much since then, as have attitudes.

I think this has more to do with a lack of community and an ability to travel at will and maintain long distance relationships-in the past,in an intact community a handful of girls would date the bad boys-but word would spread quickly and others would learn from bad behavior

What do the stars of a few old shows and movies have to do with the fact woman in the west tend to steer toward badboys?

Look how the Hays Code quelled hedonism in early hollywood; and look at the list of wholesome movies it brought about. Still, the code didn't stop grindhouse, perverted campy, and exploitation films from corrupting the industry and people. It's the Frankfurt School agenda at work

What so many US and allied soldiers did to German women and girls during and after the war destroyed my notion of some politicians and US troops of WW2 being part of the "greatest generation". Much of the blame is on the then-sec of treasury during WW2 for such a horrible order

Did those men not have a lot of money and status? That too is a function of male sexual market value.
