Blacks who built America are due reparations. You didn't make that statement when it came to Japanese,Jewish,former slave owners getting reparations. This is an american matter. If you want reparations from Muslims then deal with those nations not this one.
I think whites should consider reparations for slavery right after Muslims pay reparations for stealing - and mostly killing - well over a million white slaves and tens of millions of black slaves. And not a damn moment before.

Interesting lack of logic focuses on race. Which makes you a racist. Especially considering the white slaves that came from UK. And the White Germans in internment camps in ww2. White folks ENDED slavery. Blacks invented it, and continued it for millennia.

I have Norwegian and British DNA. Do I pay myself? To be fair all those giving and receiving reparations will have to do a DNA test so that the correct amount will be allotted. I'm guessing there will very few at 100% either way.

Conservative estimates for the cost of reparations is in the 10’s of trillions. It’s not outside the bounds of what’s possible. 500 million a year for a good 20 years could have all the this settled. And it would barely put a dent in our yearly budget.

Not to mention breaking out some of this land for us and allowing us to also build casinos like the native Americans can pay this off much quicker.

But the true horror for these racists on Twitter is not whether the US owes the money or whether we have it in the budget. Their fear is of the unknown. An entire class of Black people that have resources. They would rather be dead than subjected to that reality.

Around 600,000 Americans died fighting for and against slavery here. Please include the $ of their lives into the proposal.

They were part and parcel in the creation of the institution they were fighting over. They were not victims. Both sides could have found a peaceful way to end slavery. They chose to fight. The civilized thing to do was to NOT enslave the Africans and do their own work.

The point I was originally getting at is what is the $ value of a human life and from whom do we extract that $ from and at what point In history do we stop at to determine responsibility for said $ and to who do we give the $ to? It is an unquantifiable complex topic.
