I'm seriously afraid to take the test. I consider myself a highly empathetic and intuitive person. "Wise" and "well spoken" presents the illusion that I am smart. But, if I'm honest with myself (I often am, to a fault) I must confess that I'm rather ignorant. If not plain stupid.
I run a philosophy show in part because I know that IQ cannot be changed – we have to get wiser, because we cannot get smarter.

IQ is curious. It's far less about knowledge, this would be crystallized IQ. Fluid IQ is in ability to comprehend abstractions, as well to a degree in the speed of comprehension. Think of the difference in solving a Rubik's cube with a guide vs with your intuition.

It's the speed part that gets me. I can make sense of the abstractions, but it'll take a while. My brain isn't a spit fire like so many other's. Some people can rattle off the cuff and have great memories. I'm not among them.

I am the same way. Give me time and I'll probably reach the correct conclusion / understand the concept. But I'm not very expedient within new intellectual territory.

IQ can change generationally just like any other characteristic, but it will still average out the same.Hi IQ does not make u a better person,more artistic, more artisanal,methodical ,reliable etc,so the school system should at least push kids to stuff they have an aptitude for
