        I mean, he did say the earth and technically the sun is always shining on the earth. It's storage and transport of the energy that's the problem we need to solve.

        Currently, you don't. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be looking at ways to transition over to renewable energy in the future.

        That’s fair, but I have yet to hear a reasonable transition, in particular from the left. There are reasonable transitions, natural gas and nuclear, yet I don’t see those options from the left

        Dude german companies invented solar work with clouds. Also all americas need for energy can be provided by small strip on arizona map it doesnt HAVE TO be local.
