Nuclear is the future, plain and simple. It will get killed by the lobbyists just like in the past.

If were lucky it will include clouds and night time. No one can predict what the sun will do until some one figures out what the sun is and how it works. Its all theory at this point in time.

Stefan, you’re not considering the huge mirrors in orbit which reflect light to the dark side of the planet. Lol.

If only we could invent some method of storing excess energy produced when it's sunny to make up for times when it is cloudy or night time...

I just want solar... to be off the grid ;) at least as much as possible. Agree that even green things have other unseen material costs
