College was sold to us as the way for those of us who were always told we are smart and thus special to be raised out of the working class into the elite class that saves the world, cures disease, starts under water cities, serves human progress. All lies.

Graduate college and you are not special, you are not above normal people, working with elite geniuses, building martian cities, working in area 51, learning to decode Dolphin language. You are just dirt poor, in debt, and told to get a job, with no skills or experience.

Damn Smart, maybe we have a chance after all, is this the "Trump Effect."

There's absolutely nothing wrong with studying STEM subjects in college and university. These are vital fields for the economy. Just avoid arts, humanities and social sciences at all costs. But don't discourage the study of natural sciences, engineering, computing, etc.

Men, are choosing trade school. Incoming doctors shortages and scientists. God will not save this.

Excellent choice for them. College is overrated.
