Disown leftists. Seriously. Get them the hell out of your life. Ostracism is the last hope to stop detention camps, starvation and totalitarianism. Maybe the social shock of being shunned will waken them. If they win, you’re going to be separated anyway. Just on their terms

I wish I could agree. What would happen is they'd find you to be weird, accuse you of bigotry and then go and talk to their dozens of leftist friends. Disowning only works when the person you're disowning has no other options.

I actually tried this once and had this exact experience. The person said I was alt right (I'm not) then went and told all our mutual friends that I went crazy. It caused me far more problems than it caused them.

I ain’t on anybody’s side, but I’ve heard them say the exact same thing you just said. “Disown the right” and “get rid of them”. This is a response to and from each party. This is the great divide the ones in power want us to be in. I ain’t attacking, jus saying.

We don't need echo chambers, but we've been playing the game on their terms with their rules. The left owns academia, Hollywood and politically their are few real conservatives. So what would you recommend?

I'm on the left, so I'm not really one to give you republican strategies advice. I just know I would have way less friends if I said "nope, no friends if you're even slightly right of center on anything". I have a breaking point when it comes to ideology but it's more nuanced.

I'm sorry you've met such terrible "leftists", Stefan. We're not all authoritarian thought-policing moochers. Many of us are about solidarity through common goals, consideration of others, individual liberty, responsibility personal and shared, anti-authoritarians, anti-bigotry.
