Yeah, public schools are the worst. I never cared about doing homework or reading the mandatory material in grade school. I would go home and read college-level anatomy and physiology books for fun though. Way more functional than reading fictional literature and whatnot.

My concern that you don’t have certain abilities for the breadth of the human experience is an ad hominem of sorts. It’s not an attack nor is it an argument. It’s a genuine question. Am I reading the thoughts of someone incapable of the complete human experience.

IQ have a correlation of 0.82 for academic performance. Far higher than income, behaviour, etc. It seems that you just don't want to admit your IQ isn't that high.

I came out of high school with a 3.5 GPA and I've tested at 130 IQ. I could have had a higher GPA but I just didnt give a damn most days. I did what I had to do to pass and get out of the God damned school system.
