There are many poor countries in Asia, yet they typically have higher IQ. China, up until recently, was very poor. South and North Korea are almost the same people, yet have a significant wealth disparity between them. Sometimes it's the environment more than the IQ?

IQ without a free market has no traction – look at the difference between North and South Korea

Right, so can it be said that Haiti, rather than suffering from an IQ problem, is suffering from a lack of free markets problem, especially considering we don't know yet the full extent to which their environment has been affected to reduce their IQ?
-
Can't maintain free market with average IQ below 95-100, as free market relies on honest transactions ("honor system"), rule of law, and delayed gratification, all 3 things lower IQ people are not known for.
-
Ireland has been doing pretty well maintaining a free market system and their average IQ is 92. Chile has done fairly well and their average IQ is 90. Dominican Republic, on the same island as Haiti, has an average IQ of 82. I don't think it's obvious which leads, IQ or markets.

But the interferences were not the same for every nation. That does not necessarily mean that they are the dominant factor, but I doubt they can be entirely dismissed by that premise.

So the gulf states became extremely wealthy during the last decades due to an increase in IQ or more free markets? No other factors played a part in it?

There are actually really straight forward cultural reasons why haiti is so poor. It has a lot to do how the slaves were managed compared to other slaves. Since the slave population was so high they were intentionally prevented gaining basic knowledge to make the reliant on mas-

Yes but the outside interference has taken different forms, thus resulting in different outcomes. Oversimplification is also a intellectual sin.

Other than Wakanda, every black-run entity in written history, from towns to entire countries, have successfully been interfered with in some manner, to keep them poor. Truly astounding.
