Do you mean in the one carriage you were in, or the whole train? Did you check? And how many? Was it one Chinese couple, you and your team? I've been catching ~600 trains a year in Australia for about 22 years, and I'm yet to see a train like you describe.

Colonialism 21st century style. I noticed it in Indonesia too. The former Dutch elite has gradually been replaced by a Chinese one. Although I feel the Dutch did more to elevate the country (infrastructure etc.), while the Chinese behave more like traditional colonists.

Whining isn't an argument. You get offended when people mention colonialism but somehow just Chinese people going on a holiday spike a nerve in you. Really hope your daughter would date a non white just to spite you.
