Most of Africa's problems could be solved by cutting off all aid.

Most African problems especially political are influenced by the West

Most African thinking is
#biased against the west.. -
Wow we should appreciate people who ruin our democracy plunder our countries so as to benefit from our resources
-
Who gave you democracy? Do you think it appeared spontaneously? Most african governments have a tendency to slide towards tribalism. Blaming europeans is just an excuse to cover own failures.
-
We had our own perfect system of democracy we had kingdom's chiefdoms courtsystems .Where did civilisation start from ? Egypt in Africa. Western nations brought about tribalism by dividing our continent picking leaders from certain communities to lead us .protecting dictators

I've travelled extensively around Africa and there's a common theme I've noticed: Chinese. They're everywhere. It's a silent large scale economic invasion. While we're squabbling over pronouns, microagressions and race-baiting celebrities they're occupying a continent.
-
They've taken several ports in lieu of unpaid loans including fishing rights; and are teaching Manderin in many African countries..pic.twitter.com/4XwGZ4l0Rb

If end game is to cripple and own Africa through unpayable dept, I'd say the West's long got Africa in the bag, using IMF and World bank as proxies. They're the masters. China's merely picking up the crumbs building infrastructures and hoping Africa won't be able to pay back.
-
Unless you are willing to start repossessing assets unplayable debt is worthless lol. No western country has the guts to go in and start taking African assets for debt owed. Guarantee they forgive it. The Chinese, well that is a dragon of a different breed.
-
Repossession of assets doesn't necessarily require boots on ground World bank forces privatisation of State owned assets, paving way for foreign companies to come in and take over, through shareholding Unpayable debts can also be used as leverage to gain crucial votes at the UN

But ill bet you we will still be paying all the humanitarian aid to Africa. China makes the money and we are the worlds social benefit system. That would make The West the worlds sugar daddy.
-
It's not that plain. "Humanitarian aid" is so pervasive amd cared-about by the Washington NGO folks because it in reality is business, money business and politics business. The only thing humanitarian about it is the shroud it's sold in.

AFRICA and now SOUTH AMERICA. China is going to end up with ALL the precious metals we rely on for all of technology. THIS IS BIGGER than ANYTHING happening in American politics, business or technology. AND WE'RE SLEEPING THROUGH IT!!! WHY??????????????????

All of the undeveloped world is for China's taking. I went to the Caribbean, and there was Chinese development.
-
It's their Roads & Bridges projects...they are taking over the undeveloped world that way.
