First job at 10? Hah. I was CEO of a big corp at 6. Slow poke.

I babysat and picked berries for school clothes money. My parents signed a permission slip and a bus would pick us up. I washed dishes at a local restaurant at 16. It felt good.

I have worked since I was fifteen and have learned that workaholism is just as destructive as any other addiction born out of fear.

From about the age of 7 I tended my grandparents garden. I never received allowance for anything. I received a workman’s wage. I was proud of it. They als taught me the value of savings. With progressive insight I realise how careful they prepared me for the workplace amd life.

All I'm saying, is that my kids were at the museum play area and they had this conveyor belt that you could crank and put blocks on, and they... were... OBSESSED.

Working back in the day a paycheck = weed! Nowadays who knows what kids spend their $ on or if most even work at all...

My first job was at 14 as I was too young to date & could work Friday & Saturday nights at the Soda Shop. Later on, I worked for my stepfather doing the accounts for his feed mill business. It builds character & although they don't teach it anymore: character counts!

I was working in a pre-caste concrete factory at age 14. It was good money for my age, and I learned a lot about work. Most importantly I learned that I did not want to do hard labor my whole life!

In Méxio the gov is starting a welf. progm. to pay a salary to unemployed students, millennials already doesn't like to work.

Perfect!! Started working at 15. Best thing that happened to me.

By the time I was 17 I was able to pay for beauty school due to my work privilege. Working felt like freedom because I had money that I could spend any way I wanted. It was a path for escape.

My 3 children all had jobs of some kind by age 14. Today all 3 are positive, productive members of society.
