Jussie Smollet’s fake hate crime against blacks... ...is a REAL hate crime against whites. The saddest thing is that six months from now, half the country will still believe it was real, like Mike Brown the “hands up don’t shoot gentle giant.”

Good point, if we have hate crime laws maybe faking a hate crime should be classified as a hate crime.

Yes, a hate crime hoax in part might be motivated by a dislike of certain people--but since I don't care to especially punish disliking people, I'd say hate crime hoaxes should be punished as a distinct crime category for the fear and bitter political division they can cause.
