As I asked in an MBA class years ago, if women really earn $0.78 on the $1, then where is the greedy, all-female corporation with the unassailable competitive advantage?
If women were so amazingly productive in the workplace, business owners would bid up their wages. If you knew for CERTAIN that a stock was undervalued, would you endlessly complain about it, or just buy and profit from it?

If women really are working for that much less, why wouldn't greedy corporations only hire women? A labor cost reduction of that caliber would significantly improve the bottom line for any company and make the CEO and instant hero with stockholders.

I was reading Soros's alchemy of finance and he seems to suggest that (injections of) credit can determine value aside of anything more intrinsic. The big boys have been heavily investing in women in the workplace in the same way trying to create value ex nihilo. It doesn't work

Exactly. I run a small business, labor cost is 50% of my total expenses. If I could save 30% on labor cost by hiring all black women, don’t you think I would have done that by now??

Stefan I follow you and agree with most of your views. But your constant women bashing is getting old .. you are the parent of a daughter after all. Subconsciously, she is picking up on this. My feminist mother was constantly bashing men to the detriment of my brothers.

So trying to correct a pervasive lie that gives women a victim complex is bashing women? If you actually respect women you tell them the truth. You tell them that choices have consequences and they should be aware of and be responsible for the consequences of said choices.

I love men as much as women. As a mother of two sons and grandson, I would never usher a negative word about men, as a group, in their presence. What’s the point ? What would it accomplish?
