A man who isn’t expected to be a caretaker for his own children is like a woman who gets paid less because of her gender. These days, we have too much of both.

True. Both dont exist.

I am a single guy who may have missed his shot at kids and it is the worst feeling I have ever felt and I am dude, cannot imagine what a lady would feel like
-
I feel great about it. My husband and I travel all over the world, can help our family, including all our nieces and nephews who love us tons, and still do whatever we'd like. Being an auntie is the best!
-
I came here to suggest travel. My wife (36) and I (38) have struggled, will probably adopt, but we take 2-3 badass vacations every year and love it. Plus we have a dog

There is always someone out there that will complain that women have no kids, too many kids, not enough kids, kids when they are too young, or kids when they are too old.
-
Not only that, there is always someone out there who knows how to live your life better than you do

And yet so many jobs, and so many single and eligible men searching for wives...
-
The unemployment is 4%, if there are unfilled jobs, they aren't paying enough to be filled.
-
You're missing the point. A rolling stone gathers no moss. If you don't have a job, get a low-paying one if that's all you can get. Gain experience, and work your way up... You don't just capitulate and give up--no matter what!
-
The point is people already have jobs. We're at full employment. Saying there are jobs just waiting for bums who don't want them is deeply mistaken or lying.

Those people are accounted for in U6 unemployment, which includes transient and underemployed people. U6 in January was 8.1%. The point is that there are not roving masses of people choosing not work, as Stephen and others claim.
-
And I do understand pay matters, I made that point originally. Unfilled jobs in this market are not unfilled because people don't want to work, it's because they suck.
