I think BU should re examine their course requirements and class syllabus for an econ major. Clearly it left out supply/demand cost/benefit and most importantly the entire concept of what money is and isn’t.

I saw someone defend her economics with reference to the so-called Modern Monetary Theory. Which is some of the must nutty stuff I have ever run into.

When you give a person a degree because of affirmative action it does not make one take the person seriously but makes one take the degree not seriously.

I wonder if she is paying back her student loans...

whatever large university in whatever state Amazon decides to build its new HQ, they should give @aoc an honorary degree and invite her to be the commencement speaker at the next graduation.

The real problem is that college has become an extension of high school where you just study for the tests and not the knowledge. STEM is an exception.

Boston University has had an excellent Hockey Team for many years thanks to “Affirmative Action” ! SO THERE !!

She would have learned more from reading Thomas Sowell than what she got in her degree.

Her main emphasis was international studies. I’m holding onto that because I would hate to think Boston College has horribly poor curriculum.

Look at the way Amazon treat their warehouse workers. Toxic.

The one thing these socialists never touch upon is the need for government de-regulation on the local, state, and federal levels. That is how you get "Mom and Pop" businesses competitive against the monopolies these bureaucrats have been herding us in to for decades.

Remember Saul Alinsky? If this keeps being popular & acceptable it's the destruction of this country. We NEED to do our homework & reverse the tide. The young are being duped & lead by misinformation provided by a broken system. She really believes this will work. #scary

That's because most professors, even in economics are Socialists, or at the least Keynsians. A real shame.
