A slave trade is by definition and observation an economic factor, not a religious aspect. The Romans didn't stop keeping slaves during or after Constantin cancelled the old deities and implemented Christianity.

Roman had like million slaves in 1 AD. Other Scythia & Iranic kingdoms had fair amount of share. Islamic slave trade is different in the sense most were token slaves fighting for cause. The soldiers bought by early Islamic generals created vast Slave dynasties in India & Egypt

If your point is that whites aren't the only ones culpable for slaves being brought to the new world, you have a fair point. But it's a fool's argument to say they are less or equally responsible. They brought the slaves over, the end.

If someone asks you why there's a new car in your garage, you can't say "well who is more responsible, me for buying it or the car dealership." You're the one who bought the car. The existence of cars is a more complicated issue but you are the reason that car is there.
