When it came to slavery, whites were both the dealers *and* the users - black people were treated as the product, and it's the main reason why slavery was so abhorrent.

How about this one: the African slave-catchers/traders were terrible, as were the European slavers who bought them. Also, comparing slavery to “drug dealers” is incredibly ridiculous.
