It’s not ended. The same people are at it, for the same religion, for the same reasons.

It takes a special kind of delusion to ignore those European slave ships making trips for human cargo for centuries. Whites enslaved everyone they could get their hands on, even each other. Almost every other group has done the same, but to ignore white involvement is lunacy.
-
And to pretend that Slavery was a 'peculiar institution' to White Europeans - or even comparable to other areas/peoples, in scope or volume - is deliberately disingenuous.
-
I didn't. I responded to the specific claim that slavery was not a part of white history, which you'd have to have a brain injury to sincerely believe.
-
Context. I have *almost* never heard anyone refer to 'White History' - when they weren't singling out white people for some blame, of which other peoples were, by virtue of the carve-out, being absolved. European - Yes Western European - Yes Eastern European - Yes 'White' - No
-
As a white person what happened in the past involving my ancestors is white history. I can honestly say I don't care who is seeking absolution. I care about what actually happened.
-
Context - still seems like deliberately picking the 'White' part of the dynamic for the purpose of isolating/localizing the moral blame/harm. To say 'human history' is accurately-inclusive, without lending a racial bias. White-affected slavery pales by comparison through history
-
White people were responsible for the holocaust and the gulag. That's an example of a fact, not a moral judgement. You seem to have a fixation on morality and blame for historical events which I don't share. I get no comfort from saying humanity did the holocaust.
-
And you seem to be eschewing reference to Slavery as a 'Human History' blight, because it doesn't call out or emphasize White People's wrongdoing strongly enough. What purpose, stressing the (frankly lesser) involvement of one racial group over others if not for blame?
