We take in more and more immigrants because the US has destroyed/exploited their home countries. They can't stay, or they will be killed by a dictator that we propped up. The root cause of your issues is not immigration, it's the wars.
The US has imported over 40 MILLION people from low-carbon footprint countries to high-consumption America. National debts destroy the environment by swelling current consumption. So does endless money printing. Environmentalists never talk about these things. Total hacks.

Sweden havent been at war for 200 years. Mostly part of UN peaceforces (or whatever they are called). Sweden has taken in 2 million immigrants (20% of total population of 10 mil) and we are being blamed for shit that other European&US powers have done. Yay.
