She can live in the country and whine about lack of opportunity then.
-
Abundance of to be precise. For the individual or family the country is rich in nearly every aspect. The mass mindedness of the frenzied sprawling metropolis can be very overwhelming for many.
-
I grew up in the country and am aware of the advantages and disadvantages. You can live in the country but it’s often hard to make a living in the country.

Cities are great. The country is great. It's the people that suck. Just so happens that country = fewer people. Just a reflection of our times where 99 out of 100 people you meet is a diehard statist. The cities of medieval Europe were great founts of freedom and prosperity.
