What about Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Arabs who invented mathematics and brought Aristotle back into European thought? Didn't they help 'build the modern world'?

Actually Aristotle was translated from Syriac to Latin in 7th Century or so, Aquinas adopts Avicenna's Aristotelian logic - there was much transmission and translation between the arab world and Western Europe at this time

Touchy subject. I'm not sure but I've worked with ppl from diff skin color and diff countries. Stereotypes aren't that far fetched and work ethics are obviously worse with certain immigrants.
