Every single one of my friends that don’t or didn’t spank their kids; their kids are pretty bad or outright awful.

Sorry, Stefan. . . she's right. The violence of snowflake 'protests' and Antifa are the result of parent-as-friend instead of parent-as-teacher-and-disciplinarian. The fastest way to cure a kid of biting is to bite them back.

I think that a physical punishment sometimes is needed when you can't reasoning with them is to no avail. If they're repeating behavior, and you do it in a manner that's gentle and out of love, not acting out of anger.

I have two great young adults that were never spanked... Deprive from privileges is a better punishment...

Put me on the long list of people who were spanked and turned out fine, those seem to outweigh anyone who was really messed up by it.

Spanking has one important use: it is a replacement pain to connect an action that would yield a more severe pain/physical harm. Anything else it's the wrong approach
