I always wondered about that. I assumed "red" as "socialism" was closer to "communism" but for the US parties, it's the other way round as you say.

So true. Its the common policy of all mainstream left wing parties. When they say worker or Labour, they mean foreign worker or Labour, as they mostly have no loyalty to the domestic culture or population.
