I see you have been well-programmed to believe that if the government does not provide a service, that service can never be provided. ”If we free the slaves, there’s no way the cotton could ever be picked!”https://twitter.com/MitRdb/status/1092495271974617088 …

But crap would flow in the streets like in Lagos and most cities in India. No tax no decency. You appreciate the things you pay for. I know your point is that borders need better control but felt i had to jump on the tax bus.

Not in the "developing world" where I live. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't with more people on social grants than tax payers and massive looting by the ANC we are sinking in crap. No taxes no hope. I do agree it's the only way to reduce government's power.

If the "developing world" had liberal and consistent property rights as well as access to global markets they would all do what South Korea did, but in 1/3rd the timehttps://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-landrights-desoto-idUSKCN10C1C1 …

Private police forces? Private fire services? You don't foresee any difficulties in their privatisation?

These people see the chaos of the third world and spectacularly wrongly assume they have a lack of regulation and government.

The point is that the service cannot be provided to all communities. FDA, cops, infrastructure, disaster relief, etc. require billions of dollars that will not be available on a local/state level. Donations and privatization won't be near enough to pick up that kind of slack.
