This wall is a couple miles long and heavily guarded by armed Israeli soldiers. The Trump wall would be 3,000 miles and unguarded. Short walls with enough guards can work, like the Berlin wall. Also notice it's a cheap fence and not needlessly expensive concrete.
For me it's not about morality. It's about cost efficiency. Israel's wall is pragmatic while Trumps isn't. I'm not a big fan of Stefan, but I wouldn't suggest a massive Canadian border wall just to keep him out!
If it wouldn't work, the democrats wouldn't care if it got built or not. They were offered anything they wanted for it, if it was just a 5 billion lawn ornament they would have rolled their eyes and take their amnesty deal.

I have to disagree, they are so harmfull they dont even care for the israeli fence. They complain about israel security measures everyday and donate to far left groups in israel like btselem condemning israel border secutity.
