Programming requires logic, something these reporters seem to lack.

They would start diversity programs and not actually do any coding. People would be fooled into thinking they were doing something useful, and they wouldn't be fired. Instead, competent coders would get fired for questioning the diversity program.

There are not enough bytes to address all the possible genders postmodernists believe in. Oh, and bits are binary so there's that.
