Right, and I agree with that – IQ becomes less predictable of life outcomes as it goes up, which is exactly what you would expect. The tall guy may or may not become a basketball player, but the short guy almost never will. High IQ = more choices, and choices are unpredictable.https://twitter.com/3spen1/status/1090884637595815937 …

He is still talking about IQ only measuring the low IQ live-predictions correctly, but not the high IQ life "prognosis". While not taking the options into account. (That high IQ ppl can still make poor life choices and do poorly in life.

EQ (emotional Intelligence) appears to predict success and happiness in life more than does IQ

Disagree, @Sean84076698 made a great video where he shows that the benefits of IQ are mostly linear, even at higher IQs. Nonlinearity is the exception, not the norm. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fSXYhnrwjQE …

A persons IQ is far from the only way to measure someone’s value. The logical way for society to benefit from all individuals is to play to their strengths. Big arms don’t always do well at maths but they can lift stuff quite well!

I think what brett was saying is we need to look at it from the other side. We are very good at untilizibg high IQ drones to benefit the collective but we need to find ways to assimilate other unique strenths

What about someone who is good at sales. I have been in that industry a long time and i assure you there is at best a minimal correlation between IQ and performabce at that task. We are creating more service sector jobs then any other kind these days

High IQ is meaningless in this regard. Luck is what matters. and we can induce neither.
