Capitalists buy politicians and then they have both powers. Politicians print money and then they have both powers. If someone with power is trying to harm you, regardless of the source, the only viable response is some form of collective defense: political, or economic, or both

Advising people who are under attack against using a method of defense while the attackers are not refraining from using it as a method of attack makes one complicit with the attackers.
-
Socialists have a persuasion advantage over the allegedly more rational libertarians because socialists will point to real sins committed by capitalists and libertarians frequently deny the existence of those sins.
-
The Sackler family's multi-generational crime spree, for example, can only be stopped by an accumulation of political power that exceeds the the political power they've purchased with the proceeds of their crimes.
-
One can say that in an ideal free market they would have never acquired that power in the first place, but we didn't have one of those, and they did get the power, and they wielded it deadly effect.
-
The most reliable bet right now is the only force that will stop their crimes is that wielded by someone even worse who's looking to displace them.

People with money buy guns and politicians. That's why a sensible society tries to separate politics from money, to make the politician dependent on the voters, not the oligarchs. It is a never ending problem and not being done at all in U.S. today.

Stefan Molyneaux destroying his own argument against Anarcho-Capitalism. Rothbard was right
-
The problem with Anarcho- capitalism is that having no government is just a rabbit call for the nearest opportunist government. It'll last about as long as still weather in a Sharknado movie.
-
Well I presume that there's nothing "built-in," that sounds governmenty. But could a free market solution be hatched? I believe that's possible. But why has it never been done?
-
We don't know if it hasn't... recorded history isn't that long. With that said, most people are conditioned to prefer the illusion of safety over freedom, no matter how much evidence Govt provides the contrary.

It's really not that simple. Capitalists have the power of money to buy armies and pay half the poor to kill the other half. Politicians exist to give the poor the illusion that the people run the government despite its being bought by capitalists.

The power of money requires a lot more accountability as poor decisions can lose it for you. With political power a bad decision just means you might need to use some bullets.
