Quick question for those who’ve been following the data I’m putting out: Why doesn’t “person of colour” generally refer to Chinese, Japanese or Armenians? What does the phrase actually mean? What is its distinguishing characteristic?

If used by an intersectionality type it's anyone who is considered a a victim. You aren't a Person of Color if you become considered an oppressor, Asians are whatever someone needs them to be at that moment. They are Schrodinger's person of color.

Opinion | It means: weaponized simplicity. Any group of people deemed “easy to manipulate by communists and other like-minded scum.” Includes people of every race, intentionally devided by their race/culture for the purpose of being weaponized against those apparently different.

I consider the ethnonym “person of colour” the stupidest thing the anglophony has ever invented. It’s not even an euphemism because an euphemism supposedly replaces a harsh or stigmatised word. What is the problem with “black”? What’s so wrong about it?

Because the lighter toned ones, who in time past might pass for being white, need to be included in the fold of race baiting.

Person of color? As opposed to non-person-of-color? AKA colorless person? AKA person who lacks color? What does it imply when someone is “of” something like “color”?

I got colour, I am white. Occasionally I am tanned, I:e slightly darker after a few weeks holidaying in Malaysia or Cyprus. In any case, many scientists refer to 5+2 continental races.

It only applies to those whose status as a POC would help push a specific narrative, at a specific time.
