Here is the argument from my Australian tour re natives: Don’t complain when you get displaced by a more advanced society. In your tribes, smart people emerged who challenged your beliefs. And you killed them for blasphemy. Displacement is the price of killing your thinkers.

Aboriginal culture had more of a move on and let re-grow mentality, tho in the "stone age" it was a cultural thing rather than a failure to move forward. To be fair without the rest of us their way of life would have existed for as long as they could have.
