Human populations have risen massively since whites invented the modern world – a couple of billion thank you’s might be in order, but I’m not holding my breath. This “harmony with nature“ is a total lie - when the Comanches got horses, they virtually wiped out the buffalo.https://twitter.com/wasicueater/status/1087406347237445632 …

It took Europeans ~260 years to destroy the Earth with the Industrial Revolution while Indigenous ppl have flourished in harmony with the Earth for thousands of years. I have to laugh. https://twitter.com/StefanMolyneux/status/1087091566856986629 …

Almost every thing that you ascribe to whites technologically was invented by germans: internal combustion engine, diesel, mold board plough, jet engine, rocket engine. There are of course exceptions. These however are foundational. But everyone hates the germans. Funny that.

fall from the weight of the herd pressing behind them, breaking their legs and rendering them immobile. Many other tribes practiced similar "harmonious" hunting techniques, sacrificed humans, rape and pillaged other smaller tribes. Wonderful, peaceful lifestyles all of them...

Yeah, the buffalo had to go or else those massive herds would've torn up the railroads. As such they are not extinct, I can go to the grocery store and buy buffalo meat. As to "living in harmony"? That's a laugh...

What, you mean my public school teachers were lying all those years when they taught my classmates and me that white settlers killed the buffalo by shooting all of them whilst on a moving train heading west?

Umm... Mastadons were apparently hunted to extinction in North America. So... I'd call that cyclical resource depletion.

Jill, this is for you : The buffalo jump was used for 5,500 years by the indigenous peoples of the plains to kill buffalo by driving them off the 36 foot high cliff. Before the late introduction of horses, the Blackfoot drove the buffalo from a grazing area in the Porcupine Hills
