Socrates could speak his mind regardless his wealth...now people get locked up or banned from reaching people if the speech is not liked by the wealthy. It is not even about being right or wrong.

Socrates also served in the Athenian Army (Infantry) with distinction, even saving the life of his pupil Alcibiades in combat. He also served in the Infantry on campaigns well into old age when he could have feigned illness and dodge the draft.

Yes while Socrates was poisoned by the people he was trying to help, he was being better in terms of maintaining his integrity and having a higher or better purpose. And, as a counterpoint, the Clintons are obviously doing better; money-wise. But Clintons being better? Haha.
